Cell Center
The Cell Center was established in 1989 to facilitate basic scientific research by providing expertise and service in all aspects of mammalian cell culture. Our primary service is establishing immortalized cell lines from mononuclear cells isolated from study participants’ peripheral blood (EBV transformations). Other services include:
- The establishment and/or growth of mammalian cells
- Repository services (banking and shipping samples)
- Consulting/training in cell culture
The Cell Center is a member of ISBER (the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories) and adheres to ISBER’s Best Practices for Repositories.
